Well as usual... Weekend is the best time to train... Ride on Saturday, Long run and swim on Sunday..
Saturday ride is a bit different.. doing mostly bike time trial training.. got to brush on it.. bike time trial is to test how long and fast can you pull yourself.. My time trial can of sux.. been drafting too much.. time to train on this field.. doing half or full ironman is a non-drafting races so it's better to start training...
Saturday was kind of busy.. pack the whole day.. went home after ride to wash my bike before riding to AC to get my bike fix... well.. hang around AC till like 3pm before heading home.. planned to reach my "da gu" house around 4 plus and had inform my cousin about it but once i reached home, just feel like taking a short nap and slack a while. Phone rang, cousin called asking where am i, it's like 4.30pm already and i'm still at home.. haha.. well.. too tired.. instead of meeting them at the house, went to meet them at chinatown first.. both my cousin need to head back office and asked me along.. and again back to amoy street.. Enjoyed my free cup of "Koi" bubble tea and was likeing stoning at their office..
Seem like my most my cousin read the book "Have a little faith" and to my nightmare.. i missed out some point in the story and guess what, i got to re read the book again from the start.. great.. went back to the house and had dinner.. a grand dinner instead... lot of stuffs to eat.. kfc, pizzahut, satay, fried noodle and rice, chicken wings and also different kind of mooncake.. haven't been like seeing my cousins for a long time so had a fun session catching up with them.. always like to meet up with them but sometime i just too busy so no choice.. Last event of the night.. LANTERN! haha.. well.. those paper and candle type.. was kind of saying next year we should get those battery type instead..
Today mac was so happening.. there's a race there but doesn't affect us as we always ran out from mac.. did 24km with the MR-runners... everything was good, leg was doing good and i still can bring myself to increase my pace for the last 2-3km of the run.. just that the weather was.. HOT! everyone was complaining.. so.. next Sunday long run will start at 6.30am instead of 7am..
As usual, headed back home after buying my breakfast. Had a good rest before going to sp for my swim.. long swim 2.2km in total.. guess i got to start learning freestyle instead.. Had dinner at west mall.. shop around a while then head back home to slack...
First step to good training is to get enough rest and recovery well.. sleeping early is the key.. i got to adjust my body to it!
